Palin Mocks 'Hand-Gate'
On Sunday the left went bonkers after they discovered that the TelePrompter-less former Governor Sarah Palin wrote notes on the palm of her left hand for her speech to the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville. The far left absolutely freaked over this non-issue rather than focus on her brilliant speech knocking the Obama Administration’s horrid record on economics and national defense.
Today Sarah fired back. She wrote “Hi Mom!” on her palm during her campaign stop with Governor Rick Perry of Texas. Read more here.

@ TEA'D IN OHIO: It's really amazing how you accept Palin's rationalization for quitting as Alaska's governor. Trivial lawsuits against elected officials is common. They come with the territory. Governors, congressmen, and senators deal with these types of lawsuits all the time, but besides Palin, can you recall any elected officials that simply quit their post because of them? What does it say about her character that when things get difficult, she decides to quit? Not exactly Commander in Chief material.

When Palin did so much for Alaska in so little time and they loved her so much I can understand why her integrity would make her not want to waist the taxpayers money when the liberals start the stupid lawsuits to waist the tax payers money to try to make her look bad and there has been nothing embarassing come out of it anyway. Krewman, You seem to forget that the key word in any office is ELECTED! If you can't do the job that the people hired you to do, then you do the right thing and step aside. That's not being a quitter! That is doing the right thing for your state and the people and saving them thousands of dollars, can be used for other stuff..That shows real character and concern for the people you serve! EVERYONE IN WASHINGTON IS ELECTED, BY WE THE PEOPLE, and they AREN'T listening to the people who hired them and whom they WORK FOR, and are costing ALL OF US MILLIONS, they all need to step aside too! All the fuss about this non issue really takes me back to a year ago. Sarah withstood all the attacks then and continues to do so. In my eyes, that makes her a perfect candidate in 2012. I'm sure if there was a skeleton in her closet, the progressive lefties would have found it by now. Obviously they have not. We all know exactly what we're getting with her. Palin for Prez. Huge difference between reading your speech off a script (teleprompter) word for word or using few notes.
Notes are exact opposite of reading off the teleprompter, reading off complete script written for you with every word in a sentence and here is Sarah just using notes.

Watch the beginning of the "Palin on Foreign Policy" video on one of the other Palin threads. She carried a stack of papers with her up to the podium. It was most likely a copy of her entire speech, plus notes. She did NOT present her entire speech from memory, very few speakers can, and she is NOT one of the few.
The notes on her hand were for the Q & A session, where she did appear to refer to them (@46 sec) when answering a question.
