Krugman: 'The Teabaggers Have Come and Gone'
Paul Krugman is the latest far left crank to refer to the “teabaggers” in his latest New York Times column:
So, how well will health reform work after it passes?
There’s a part of me that can’t believe I’m asking that question. After all, serious health reform has long seemed like an impossible dream. And it could yet go all wrong.
But the teabaggers have come and gone, as have the cries of “death panels” and the demonstrations by Medicare recipients demanding that the government stay out of health care. And reform is still on track. Right now it looks highly likely that Congress will, indeed, send a health care bill to the president’s desk.

Not sure where he gets the idea that the Tea Parties are over. They just kicked off another tour. And how does he figure reform is still on track? Sometimes its simply amazing how deeply in denial some of these radlibs are. That must be some awfully potent kool-ade they're drinking, or maybe its the Obama-colored glasses they're looking thru. If there is any reform this year, it won't resemble anything like what the radlibs are hoping for.

Any candidates running for office between now and 2012 should be asked, at a minimum, these five pointed questions with just a “yes” or “no” answer allowable.
1) Will you work to repeal all of the UNCONSTITUTIONAL laws that are being passed in this Congress? Ie: healthcare; stimulus; private company takeovers; private company CEO salary cuts; Cap & Trade, card check, etc?
2) Will you work to write laws to abolish Czar’s?
3) Will you support HR1207 (audit the fed)?
4) Have you read the Constitution and will you ACTUALLY PROTECT IT?
5) Will you support your State's 10th Amendment right to protection from an out of control govenmental Federal monstrosity?
This is just PART of what "WE THE PEOPLE" are demanding!

Looks like the Progressives will have their own tea party;
Moveon.org issued a warning Tuesday to any Democrat who might join Republicans to filibuster a government-run insurance option -- if you oppose the government option you will lose support from the organization's 5 million members.
The group said it surveyed its members over the weekend and found that "93 percent of MoveOn members agreed that any senator who helps block an up-or-down vote on a health care bill with the public option should lose the support of all five million of us -- no donations, no volunteering, and no help getting out the vote."
