$100 Million for Mary Landrieu's Health Care Vote?
ABC News' Jonathan Karl reports:
What does it take to get a wavering senator to vote for health care reform?
Here’s a case study.
On page 432 of the Reid bill, there is a section increasing federal Medicaid subsidies for “certain states recovering from a major disaster.”
The section spends two pages defining which “states” would qualify, saying, among other things, that it would be states that “during the preceding 7 fiscal years” have been declared a “major disaster area.”
I am told the section applies to exactly one state: Louisiana, the home of moderate Democrat Mary Landrieu, who has been playing hard to get on the health care bill.

Well we knew what she is and now we know her price. Pouring money into New Orleans, the cesspool or the plantation, is just plain crazy. Senator Landrieu or a member of her family has been on the levee board down there for decades and have been siphoning money away from this fund for other purposes, namely lining their pockets. It is time to say no more to an area that has not and will never learn to fend for themselves. New Orleans, the chocolate city, is nothing more than a big plantation.

Democrat Mary Landrieu is a traitor to her constituents in Louisiana. And all the other Senators who voted against their constituents wishes are traitors. They think the public will forget because they're stupid.
There are so many ways that this bill could have been constructed so it wouldn't involve wasteful government control. The private sector isn't perfect but they do a much better job than government.

Maybe they used stimulus money to pay her off. The stimulus money has been STOLEN. There are so many mistakes in RECOVERY.ORG because it is a fictional cover up of the billions of $$ the Obama administration has secretly given to ACORN, SEIU, and other individuals to pay for past and future support and votes. Understand this....Louisiana is basically a corrupt state. They had to do a MAJOR clean up of the corruption in New Orleans. Other states have recovered from horrific disasters - tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. and they weren't given money to influence a key vote on the TAKE OVER of your BODY, your MIND, your very LIFE...
