Biblical Anti-Obama Slogan? Psalm 109:8
There's a new slogan making its way onto car bumpers and across the Internet. It reads simply: "Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8"
A nice sentiment?
Maybe not.
The psalm reads, "Let his days be few; and let another take his office."
Presidential criticism through witty slogans is nothing new. Bumper stickers, t-shirts and hats with "1/20/09" commemorated President Bush's last day in office.
But the verse immediately following the psalm referenced is a bit more ominous: "Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow."

Never do I want POTUS to leave his wife a widow, that isn't what we are supposed to be about in this country.
What I DO want is to see him soundly defeated but I doubt it will happen as I have liberal friends who don't or won't believe one thing against him --- even with proof.

they use the Bible for this reason, just like any other, because it helps them mask their own hates, fears and loathings...THEY dont hate, GOD does, and whatever God hates is ok for them to hate. then they fall back on the "hate the sin not the sinner" rule, of course this too masks their own anger. In the end, they have taken Christ's very simple message that we should love one another and destroyed it for their own nefarious purposes.
Turns out, a simple msg isn't always the easiest to accomplish.

I find it rather disconcerting that so many of these "believers" find it so easy to fight against the current authority while they gave a walk to the previous one who was responsible for causing two wars that has wrought such destruction on the world.
they also actively fight for the unborn, while scoffing at the need for universal healthcare for all, they seem to hate the idea of living in more harmony with our world because it's easier to keep driving a gas guzzler, they listen to hate filled rhetoric from their leaders and call it truth as it divides us as a whole from one another.
I see very little Christ in many who profess to be Christians these days.

Christians were called to be IN the world, not OF it...you cannot claim one man's passage through this world has anything to do with another's ... all you can do is be responsible for how YOU act...if you act with love, then the light of the Lord will be visible to all...if you act with hate and anger, even in His name, you cannot mask your true self and feeling.
SP for example she talks about being Christian and yet seeks to divide people based on who they are, where they come from, how they feel about a particular person...this is NOT what Christ did, this is not what the message of Christ was about. I hear Sarah call herself a Christian, but I see very little in her that confirms it.
