Senate Dems Pass Climate Bill Over GOP Boycott
The U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on Thursday approved a Democratic climate change bill that would require industry to cut emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases 20 percent by 2020 from 2005 levels.
With Republicans boycotting the committee's work saying more analysis of the legislation was needed, 10 Democrats voted to approve the legislation and one Democrat, Senator Max Baucus, voted against it.

GLOBAL WARMING??? (Now Called Climate Change) ......Let’s just go back about thirty five years when the “scientists” were predicting a global cooling and a possible ice age. People believed it then, as it was a ‘scientific fact’. (snicker) People would be unable to cope and it would be human disaster. How short memory is, for now, we are subjected to the same ‘scientific data’ to convince people that global warming is man made and disaster is imminent. Why don't the liberals write a bill regulating volcanos after all they spew 10,000 times more Co2 into the atmosphere than all the man made causes on earth. Maybe the can talk to the volcanos like the want to talk to Ahmadinijad. I'm sure they will get the same response form both of them!

You're whole post is what is called a "false dilemma." The logical fallacy of false dilemma (or the either-or fallacy) involves a situation in which only two alternatives are considered, when in fact there are other options.
In regards to your assumptions, you make a totally illogical argument. You made the assumptions because I didn't disabuse them? That's ridiculous. Would it be acceptable if I assumed you beat your children because you didn't "disabuse" me of that assumption? Please don't "waste your time" on me. I would appreciate it.

Well, you certainly go for the gusto of questions. Morals come from both our inner self and our culture. Man has laid down moral laws over the millennium to help groups live together. They have not been static from day one, but we find a high degree of similarity between societies that have no common bond. You will say they come from your GOD. I say they come from within all of us and societies worshiping many different Gods have come up with many of the same morals. Are they absolute? Yes, until they are not.
So, where did the idea of “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” come from? You aren’t going to ‘run’ are you?

Hey, liberals: I've got an idea. Since humans expel too much CO2--you know how we take oxygen in and expel CO2--maybe you can have some of your mad scientists make a special lightweight oxygen tank that then circulates the CO2 back into a sack and we can then find a way to recycle it in special regional plants for some other use. The problem with all of these "wonderful liberal ideas" is that evenually the liberals as well as the conservatives have to pay for them. There is nothing "Free" coming from this or any other American government. The best prevention is to STOP PASSING LEGISLATION! All pens should be removed from Obama's reach and Airforce One should be grounded until a qualified President takes office.
